Google will release at least two new Pixel 7 series smartphones later this year: the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 7 Pro will have a triple-camera setup, while the Pixel 7 will have a dual-camera setup, according to the company. Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro Camera Details Revealed

On Twitter, a developer named Kuba Wojciechowski investigated and discovered information about camera hardware configurations on several upcoming Google Pixel devices, including the Pixel 7 series. Starting with the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, codenamed C10/P10, both devices use the same Samsung GN1 primary camera and Sony IMX381 Ultra wide lens as the previous generation Pixel 6 devices.

The selfie camera on both Pixel 7 devices will be an 11MP Samsung 3J1 sensor with dual pixels, which is said to improve the overall quality and offer semi-secure face authentication. The Pixel 7 Pro will ship with a Samsung GM1 telephoto lens, as opposed to Sony's IMX586 found on the Pixel 6 Pro.
