Moto Edge 2022 Design Renders and Specifications Leaked; Release Date Set for Q3

Motorola is expected to launch the Edge X30 Pro and Razr 2022 in China soon. The company postponed the launch at the last minute for unknown reasons. While we wait for more official information, another Motorola phone expected to be released soon is the Moto Edge 2022. Some information about the phone has previously leaked. A new leak has revealed the Edge 2022's design renders as well as some other specifications.

The design renders of the upcoming Motorola smartphone have been revealed by tipster OnLeaks and PriceBaba. The report also reveals the phone's display, battery, and camera specifications. Let's take a look at the Moto Edge 2022 design renders, specs, and other information.

Moto Edge 2022 Design Renders

Moto Edge 2022 is expected to be launched soon. The smartphone, codenamed Dubai+, should be available in some international markets soon. The device could make its debut in the third quarter of 2022. While we await the official launch date, the design renders reveal some important details.

The top center of the display on the Edge 2022 has a hole-punch cutout. It is expected to have a 6.5-inch pOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. A 32MP front camera will be housed in the hole-punch cutout. The Edge 2022 is also said to support styluses.

On the back, the Edge 2022 will also have a triple-camera setup. The text on the camera module confirms the phone's main camera sensor will be 50MP. It will also support optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera module also houses the LED flash module and the microphone. The Edge 2022 will have a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro shooter, according to the report.

The back panel is curved and will be available in a variety of colours at launch. Motorola has placed the volume and power buttons on the phone's right edge. The speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and the SIM tray are all located on the bottom edge. The device may also include an in-display fingerprint scanner.

A MediaTek chipset will provide power to the phone. According to a recent Geekbench listing, the phone will have a 6nm Dimensity 1050 SoC. It will have at least 8GB of RAM and will run Android 12 out of the box. A 6000 mAh battery will also be included with the phone. At the moment, no information on fast charging is available.
