New PlayStation Plus Now Live in India: Plans, Pricing, and Features

The new PlayStation Plus tiers, Extra and Deluxe, are now available in India, providing players with access to a large catalog of games as well as other features like Game Trials and Classics Catalogue. Players who already have a PlayStation Plus subscription will be given an easy upgrade option based on the remaining time on their current subscription plan.

Players can choose between the Extra or Deluxe upgrade options on the PlayStation website or through their PS4/PS5 console. Players' active PS Plus subscriptions will be converted to PS Plus Essential, a tier that provides the same services as the previous iteration of PlayStation Plus.

Upgrading is simple, and players must pay a one-time fee to advance to a higher tier. At the end of the service period, players must pay the new subscription amount.

PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe are Now Active in India

The Deluxe and Extra Game Catalogues are pretty large and include a lot of big names like Red Dead Redemption 2, Returnal, Demon's Souls, and Death Stranding: DIRECTOR'S CUT.

The Deluxe Tier provides players with an additional catalog of Classic games, including games from previous console generations like Syphon Filter and Jak and Daxter, as well as a number of Remasters like The Last of Us Left Behind, God of War III Remastered, and Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition.

The Catalogue contains a number of PS5 games, so the new service appears to be ideal for those who have just purchased a new console and need a few games to get started. New subscriptions are available at the following rates:

• PS Plus Essential – 1 month- Rs 499/ 3 months- Rs 1,199 / 12 months- Rs 2,999
• PS Plus Extra – 1 month- Rs 749/ 3 months- Rs 1,999 / 12 months- Rs 4,999
• PS Plus Deluxe –  1 month- Rs 849/ 3 months- Rs 2,299 / 12 months- Rs 5,749
