Today, OnePlus launched its flagship product in India, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. These new buds are the OnePlus Buds, the successor to the popular TWS from 2021. In China, the Buds Pro 2 was released earlier. The flagship audio device has finally been unveiled in India.

The TWS was unveiled today in India at the OnePlus Cloud 11 event in New Delhi, alongside the OnePlus 11 and 11R smartphones, the OnePlus Pad Android tablet, the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro smart TV, and the OnePlus Keyboard.

The latest OnePlus TWS comes in three colour options and will be available on Amazon and Flipkart. Let's take a closer look at the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Price in India and Availability

In India, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS cost Rs 11,999. These buds are available in Obsidian Black, Misty White, and Arbor Green. The device will go on sale for the first time on February 14th. The device will be available on Amazon and Flipkart. The pre-order period for the same begins today.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will be available in March. The specifics are still unknown.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Specifications and Features

The new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are stem-style in-ear earbuds. Dual drivers power these new earbuds. There are 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm planar diaphragm drivers available. It has active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 48dB, which is an improvement over the first-generation TWS's 40 dB. According to the company, the Buds Pro 2 has 2.5 times the ANC of the previous generation.

The buds also have a transparency mode and an ultra-low latency gaming mode with a latency of only 54ms. During calls, there is a triple microphone setup that handles ambient noise cancellation.

Furthermore, OnePlus has collaborated with Dynaudio to provide a more refined audio experience. The TWS has pressure-sensitive controls that allow you to adjust volume, accept/reject calls, and skip tracks. For audio transmission, it has Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. LHDC 5.0 (coming soon), AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs are all supported by the Buds Pro 2. Dual connections are also supported by the product.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are among the first TWS earbuds to include Google's signature spatial audio feature, which was developed for Android 13. This results in a three-dimensional experience contained within these tiny earbuds. It also has Dolby Atmos head tracking support.

The addition of omnidirectional tracking and dynamic tracking deepens the TWS. There is also OnePlus ID 2.0, which allows you to personalize your audio listening experience. These buds also have a dual connection, allowing users to easily switch between two devices.

The Buds Pro 2 are rated to last up to 9 hours on a single charge (without ANC). Each earbud can last for 5.5 hours with LHDC Bluetooth transmission and ANC enabled. The charging case contains a 520mAh battery unit that provides up to 39 hours of music playback (without ANC).

These earbuds support both Type-C and wireless charging. These headphones can provide 10 hours of music playback after only 10 minutes of charging. Each bud weighs 4.9 grams and is IP54 rated (buds). The IPX4-rated charging case on the latest OnePlus TWS weighs 47.3 grams.
