The Redmi K50i 5G device was launched in India today. Xiaomi has reintroduced the Redmi K series device in India after three years, as the Redmi K20 series was the last to launch in India. According to Xiaomi, this device will compete with other flagship killer devices in the mid-range space.
The K50i is a mid-range device priced under Rs 30,000 that features a MediaTek Dimensity series chipset, 144Hz screen refresh rate, 67W fast charging, and other features. The device will be available for purchase with additional launch offers during the Amazon Prime Day sale, which will take place on July 23rd and 24th. The Redmi K50i is priced at Rs 25,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 28,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. Quick Silver, Stealth Black, and Phantom Blue are the three color options for the phone. The first sale will take place on July 23rd.

Redmi K50i: Specifications and Features
The Redmi K50i has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ FFS LCD with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, 100 percent DCI-P3 color space, 650 nits brightness, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also supports Dolby Vision content, which is unusual for an LCD-screen phone. Depending on the content on the screen, the screen refresh rate can be set to 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, or 144Hz.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC with four premium Arm Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores running at 2GHz. The Redmi K50i features a triple rear camera setup led by a 64MP(GW1) main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera.
