On Thursday, Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi Note 12 5G series smartphones were launched in India. The Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G are among the models available. The series will succeed last year's Redmi Note 11 smartphone lineup.

Redmi Note 12 5G Specifications, Features
The Redmi Note 12 5G features a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 394 PPI pixel density, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a peak brightness of 1200-nits.
The panel has a punch-hole design and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, Adreno 619 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device accepts microSD cards with storage capacities of up to 1TB.

The Redmi Note 12 5G has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture for photography. For selfies and video chats, the phone has a 13MP front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
The Redmi Note 12 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It has IP53 water and dust resistance certification.
