Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Launched at Unpacked 2022: Price, Specifications and Other Details

Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. The clamshell foldable phone debuted alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Watch 5 series, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The new Galaxy Z Flip 4 is the successor to the Flip 3, which was introduced in India last year.

Samsung has made some minor but significant improvements to the Z Flip 4. The foldable phone now has a much larger battery. Despite the increased battery capacity, the overall weight and thickness of the Z Flip 4 have not increased significantly.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: Price and Specifications 

Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at Unpacked 2022. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has up to 512GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. It has a starting price of $999. (roughly Rs 79,206). Phantom Black, Blue, Orange, and Bora Purple are the colors available for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2640 pixel resolution. The dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex display has a 21:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ has been used to protect the screen.

On the outside, there is a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 260 x 512 pixels. On the back, the Z Flip 4 has a dual-camera setup. It has a 12MP main camera sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. A 12MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123-degree field of view is also included.

A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers the device. The octa-core 4nm SoC comes with an Adreno 730 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It also has a 10MP front-facing camera sensor. The Flip 4 has a 3700 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, 11W reverse wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

There is also a fingerprint scanner on the side. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 weighs approximately 187 g. The Z Flip 4 measures 84.9 x 71.9 x 17.1 mm when folded. It measures 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when unfolded. Finally, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes pre-installed with Android 12-based OneUI 4.1.
