Today, Sony launched a new premium true wireless earbuds in India. Sony LinkBuds WF-L900 wireless earbuds have been announced by the company. These buds were first introduced earlier this year in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other global markets.

The LinkBuds WF-L900 TWS has a 12mm driver setup, a battery life of up to 17.5 hours, support for multiple voice assistants, and a unique open ring design. These premium earbuds lack active noise cancellation.

Sony LinkBuds WF-L900: Price and Availability

The LinkBuds WF-L900 is priced at Rs 19,990 and is currently available through Sony offline stores. The new buds cost the same as the Sony WF-1000XM4 flagship TWS with ANC.

In terms of launch promotions, Sony has announced pre-order offers for Sony TWS, allowing users to pre-order LinkBuds for Rs 14,990. In addition, users can get a Rs 2,000 instant discount if they use a specific credit card. Pre-booking is available from August 4 to August 12. The headphones will be available through Sony's online and offline retail channels, as well as major e-commerce and electronics retailers.

These are the first open-ring in-ear headphones in the world. LinkBuds are said to provide a perfect fit thanks to an open ring design that allows you to hear calls, music, and other online content at any time, as well as the ambient sounds around you, in real time. These are small and compact buds that are designed to be comfortable for extended periods of time. The entire package, including the case, weighs only 34 grams.

In terms of audio, the TWS includes an integrated Sony V1 that reproduces every detail in music with minimal distortion. These earbuds feature a specially designed 12 mm ring driver with a high-compliance (low-recoil) diaphragm for rich, well-balanced sound.

These buds are equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and have a 10-meter charging range. In terms of battery life, these TWS are rated to last up to 2.5 hours for calls or up to 5.5 hours for audio listening on a single charge. The buds are rated to last up to 17.5 hours when used with the included case. It has a Type-C port for charging.

SBC and AAC audio formats are supported by the LinkBuds WF-L900 TWS. A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP sound profiles are supported by the audio device. These buds have a large control area and can perform double and triple tap operations. The WF-L900 also includes Google Assistant, Alexa, and Microsoft Soundscape support.

Google fast pair, Spotify tap, IPX4 rating, fast charging, and 360 reality audio are among the other features.
