Nokia XR21 Specifications Leaked
The Nokia XR21 will be a new premium smartphone from Nokia with a tough build. It is scheduled to be released soon. Ahead of the launch, WinFuture has disclosed that the phone would have a 6.49-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There will be support for refresh rates up to 120Hz. The gadget will also include a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus on the display for further protection against accidental drops and scratches.
The front camera is housed in a hole-punch notch at the upper center of the phone. According to the report, the front camera sensor would be 16MP. A rectangular camera module will be located on the back panel. It will most likely use a 64MP OmniVision sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. In addition, the gadget will include an 8MP telephoto camera with up to 8x digital zoom capabilities. The XR21 is only supposed to be capable of capturing 1080p videos.
The device will be water and dust resistant, with an IP68 classification. Under the hood, it is said to have a 4800mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The phone offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC compatibility.
The XR21 is believed to boot Android 12 out of the box, which, if accurate, will be disappointing given that Android 13 has been available for nearly a year. It will continue to receive OS updates until May 2026 and security patch support until May 2027.
Under the hood, the handset is claimed to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is one of the most common mid-range chipsets utilized in 5G smartphones under Rs 20,000 in India. The XR21, on the other hand, is likely to cost around $499 (around Rs 40,800).
The gadget will most likely have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Finally, the phone will weigh approximately 235 grams. Given the success of the XR20 in India, we can expect the XR21 to follow suit.
