Vivo is reported to be launching two new low-cost smartphones in India. While one will have 5G connection, the other is expected to be one of Vivo's most affordable smartphones in the country. The forthcoming phones are expected to be the Vivo Y30 5G (which will be distinct from the ordinary Y30, which will be launched in 2020) and the Vivo Y02s.

Vivo Y30 5G: Expected Specifications

The Vivo Y30 5G is believed to be a budget category 5G phone, according to a Pricebaba report. It has already received clearance certification from Thailand's regulatory government and is set to be unveiled online soon.

In terms of features, the Vivo Y30 5G may include the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The device is expected to include a microSD card slot for expanding available capacity, but no other details have been released. Other features include a 6.51-inch LCD display with HD+ screen quality and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

The design of the display, more than any other feature, reveals the Vivo Y30 5G smartphone's low price. When it is released in India, the device's display will have the most basic setup of any smartphone, implying that it will be one of the most cheap 5G phones on the market.

Other than that, the Vivo Y30 5G is expected to have a dual rear camera arrangement with a 13MP primary and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor combo. It may also include an 8MP front-facing camera and a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charging speed. The story makes no mention of its pricing, exact debut date, or the availability in India.

Vivo Y02s: Expected Specifications

According to a separate claim by RootMyGalaxy, the Vivo Y02s would be equipped with the MediaTek Hello P35 SoC, which is an entry-level chipset. Other characteristics include 3GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the display is said to be the same as the Y30 5G. It could also feature an 8MP back camera and a 5MP front camera, as well as a 5,000mAh battery with no fast charging support.

The tablet could be launched in India before July 28, with a price tag of less than Rs 10,000, according to the report.
