OPPO has launched a new A-series smartphone in India. The OPPO A57e is the company's new budget smartphone priced under Rs 15,000. The new OPPO smartphone looks a lot like the A57, which was released earlier this year. Notably, the A57 and A57e are similarly priced in India. On the A57e, minor differences include a single speaker setup, Bluetooth 5.2 support, and a single storage option.

The OPPO A57e is the company's new low-cost 4G smartphone. The device was launched with only one storage option. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. Storage expansion via microSD card up to 1TB is supported. The price is Rs 13,999. Flipkart has the A57e 4G available for purchase. Customers can purchase the phone in two colors: green and black.

The A57e 4G has a 5000 mAh battery as part of its specifications. The phone has a USB Type-C port that supports 33W fast charging. It also has a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, which is a low-end offering.

A 6.56-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels is also included. The front camera is housed in a waterdrop notch on top. Among the bezels surrounding the 60Hz screen, the chin is the thickest.
