Possible Redmi Note 12 Series and Xiaomi 13 Series Global Variants Spotted on EEC; Launch Could Be Coming Soon

In July, Xiaomi launched the flagship Xiaomi 12S series in China. The Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra are the three devices in the series. The Xiaomi 12 series devices, the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and the Xiaomi 12X, were launched in China late last year and globally in March. Only the Xiaomi 12 Pro was launched in India, while the Xiaomi 12 Lite was released globally in July of this year.

Now, it appears that Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new series of Xiaomi phones, and based on the listings, the new devices spotted could be Xiaomi 13 series phones. In addition to the Xiaomi phones, a couple of new upcoming Redmi devices were spotted, which could be part of the Redmi Note 12 series.

Possible Redmi Note 12 Series and Xiaomi 13 series Phones Spotted

The upcoming Xiaomi devices with model numbers 2210132G and 2210133G have been spotted on the EEC certification, and we believe they belong to the Xiaomi 13 series flagship phones. In addition, two new Redmi phones with model numbers 22101316G and 22101316UG have been spotted in a separate EEC listing.

The letter "G" at the end of model numbers may represent Global models. Xiaomi Communications has registered both the Xiaomi and Redmi phones. Aside from these details, the website does not provide us with any additional information.

The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to launch later this year, with the series debuting early next year. It was recently revealed that the Xiaomi 13 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is expected to be unveiled in November.

Xiaomi is expected to launch smartphones in the 13 series with a single-cell battery and a self-developed charging IC that supports 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The Surge P1 chip, which is currently the only 100W single-cell chip solution in the industry, is expected to be included.

In terms of the Redmi Note 12 series, we haven't heard much about it yet. According to rumors, the Note 12 series will be unveiled in China around October, which is still a few months away.
