Samsung Galaxy A14 5G US Version Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch

Samsung is preparing to release the next generation of Galaxy A-series smartphones. In India, the company is expected to launch a variety of phones at various price points under the A-series. The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is one of the upcoming Samsung smartphones that will be available in the coming weeks. The device is already a rumour mill favourite. Samsung has yet to confirm the Galaxy A14 5G's official release date. Meanwhile, the phone's release appears to be imminent.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Geekbench

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G with model number SM-A146U has been discovered on Geekbench. The device is expected to be released soon. According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Samsung 5G smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The SoC is a low-cost 5G smartphone processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz.

Samsung will ship the phone with at least 4GB of RAM. It would not be surprising if the company unveils the phone in the US with more RAM and storage options. When the phone is released in the United States, 64GB/ 128GB storage options may be available. The listing also confirms that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphone will ship with Android 13 out of the box. It will, as expected, have a One UI 5.0 layer on top of Android.

The device scored 2490 and 6818 in the single-core and multi-core tests on Geekbench 4. Other details about the Galaxy A14 5G have already leaked. The phone was discovered on the website of the Wi-Fi Alliance, which revealed that it will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy A14 design renders have also leaked. The phone will have a triple-camera setup on the back, according to leaked renders. It is designed with a flat frame and an Infinity-U display. A fingerprint scanner on the side of the device and a 3.5mm headphone jack are also included. The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has already been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). As a result, we can expect it to launch in India soon.
