Intel has announced the 13th Generation Intel Core desktop processor family. The company has announced six variants of the 13th Generation Intel Core desktop processors. Intel has announced the Core i9-13900K, i9-13900KF, i7-13700K, i7-13700KF, i5-13600K, and i513600KF desktop processors. The new gen is led by the Intel Core i9-13900K processor, which has up to 24 cores and 32 threads and clock speeds of up to 5.8 GHz.

These next-generation desktop processors are said to provide the best gaming, streaming, and recording experiences. According to Intel, the 13th generation provides up to 15% better single-threaded performance and up to 41% better multi-threaded performance than the 12th generation.

13th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor: Price

The Core i9 variant costs $564, the Core i7 variant costs $384, and the Core i5 variant costs $294. The new generation processors will be available on October 20, 2022. The price in India has yet to be announced.

13th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor Details

To begin, the top-of-the-line Core i9-13900K processor has 24 cores and 32 threads. This model includes 36MB of L3 cache and 32MB of L2 cache. The maximum frequency is up to 5.8GHz, with a base frequency of 3GHz. It has Intel UHD Graphics 770 integrated. The i9-13900KF is similar to the top-tier model but lacks an integrated GPU.

The i7-13700K and i7-13700KF mid-tier processors have 16 cores, 24 threads, 30MB L3 cache, and 24MB L2 cache. This variant has a Turbo Max frequency of up to 5.4GHz and a base frequency of 3.4GHz. The 13700K has an integrated Graphics 770.

Finally, the i5-13600K and i513600KF are the most affordable on the list, with 20 threads, 14 cores, 24MB L3 cache, and 20MB L2 cache. The maximum clock speed is 5.1GHz, and the base clock speed is 3.5GHz.

All of the aforementioned desktop processors support DDR5 5600 and DDR4 3200 memory capacities of up to 128GB. Except for the i5 models, which have a maximum turbo power of 181W, all models have a base power of 125W and a maximum turbo power of 253W. Finally, all six models have 20 CPU PCIe lanes.
