The standard iPhone 14 will have a 6.1-inch OLED screen. According to reports, Apple has partnered with China's BOE to supply the OLED panels for the upcoming iPhone. BOE changed the display circuit design in May, and Apple is now said to be re-evaluating the display for its upcoming 2022 iPhone models.

According to Elec, Apple is reevaluating the sample BOE displays after discovering that the supplier secretly changed the width of thin-film transistors on OLED panels for the iPhone 13 models. Following the debacle, Apple approved the OLED panels again. The Cupertino-based tech behemoth is expected to place a large order for the upcoming iPhones.

This year, no major changes are expected to be made to the standard iPhone models. While the 14 Max is a new addition, the only differences between it and the 13 mini are a larger display and a larger battery.

Both models are expected to have the same A15 Bionic chip as the iPhone 13 series. They will also have dual cameras on the back. Face ID and other sensors will be housed in a large notch at the top of the device.

This year, Apple is also expected to increase RAM to 6GB across all four models. The Pro models are expected to receive significant improvements, such as a new hole-punch and pill-shaped display, a 48MP triple-camera setup, and an A16 Bionic chip.
