The Oppo Enco Buds, which were launched in India last year, were well-received due to their low price and long battery life. Oppo appears to be working on another pair of low-cost earbuds, possibly dubbed the Oppo Enco Buds 2. The Enco Buds 2 have been spotted on the Telecommunications and Digital Government (TDRA) certification website, indicating that they will be available soon.

Oppo Enco Buds 2 Listed on TDRA Website

The TRDA website has revealed the Oppo Enco Buds 2 True Wireless Earbuds. TRDA, or Telecommunications and Digital Governments, is a telecommunications and digital government website owned by the UAE government. The model number ETE41 is assigned to the most recent pair of earbuds. Oppo Enco Buds 2 will be the name under which the company will market its upcoming earbuds. The website provides little information about the device. The device's listing on TRDA suggests that it will be available soon.

Oppo Enco Buds Specifications

Oppo launched the Enco buds in India last September, and they are available on Flipkart for Rs 1,999. They use 8mm dynamic drivers and have a two-layer composite diaphragm. It includes support for the AAC codec for audio delivery and Bluetooth 5.2 as a connectivity standard. For improved gaming, the Enco buds have an 80ms low latency mode.

In terms of battery life, the Enco Buds provide a total of 24 hours of playback time, including the charging case. The earbuds provide six hours of playback on a full charge, and the earbuds and charging case take 2.5 hours to fully charge. The earbuds have touch controls for adjusting playback and are compatible with Oppo's Hey Melody companion app for adjusting audio and playback quality

Its successor, Oppo Enco Buds 2, is expected to include incremental improvements. It will be interesting to see if Oppo keeps the price of its upcoming earbuds in India under Rs 2,000.
