Tecno Spark 9 With up to 11GB RAM Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Tecno has launched the Tecno Spark 9 in India as an affordable smartphone with 11GB RAM. The company officially revealed the smartphone's key specifications and features a few days ago. The phone is powered by MediaTek's Helio G37 chipset, has a high refresh rate display, and runs Android 12 out of the box. In India, Tecno has set a starting price of Rs 8,499 for the smartphone, which will go on sale on July 23. Tecno Spark 9 Price in India, Availability

In the country, the Tecno Spark 9 is available in three RAM + storage configurations. The device costs Rs 8,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 9,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The price of the 3GB + 64GB configuration has not been disclosed by Tecno.

Please keep in mind that the pricing mentioned is only for a limited time and may increase in the future. The phone will come in two color options: Infinity Black and Sky Mirror. Customers who want to buy the smartphone can do so starting July 23 on Amazon.

The Tecno Spark 9 is centered on a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with a fast 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The 8MP selfie camera is housed in a waterdrop notch on the front of the phone. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 processor with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Users will be able to use the phone's virtual RAM capabilities, which will allow them to increase the RAM by up to 5GB using onboard internal memory. It should be noted that the RAM extension option may not be available right away and may be enabled later through an OTA update (over-the-air update).

The Spark 9 has a 5,000 mAh battery and runs Android 12-based HiOS 8.6. On the back, there's a fingerprint sensor and two cameras. The primary camera on the smartphone is a 13MP shooter with AI capabilities.

According to Tecno, the phone's speakers are powered by DTS, and the phone is manufactured in India. The phone also has a microSD card slot for additional memory expansion. The phone's connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GNSS, Galileo, Beidou, and 4G LTE.
