Xiaomi expanded its smartphone portfolio in China, briefly introducing the CIVI 2. It is a mid-range smartphone with a primary focus on its camera. The smartphone is marketed to female customers and is the successor to the CIVI and CIVI 1S smartphones, which were released in 2021.

Xiaomi CIVI 2 Price

The new CIVI 2 comes in four colours: black, blue silk, silver, and pink. Furthermore, the Silk Silver CIVI 2 has a matte-finished rear panel with a wavy pattern (Xiaomi's signature) at the back of the handset to improve the device's aesthetic appeal.

The phone is priced at the following levels:

  • 8GB + 128GB at RMB 2,399 (approx USD 335 or Rs 27,310)
  • 8GB + 256GB at RMB 2,499 (approx USD 349 or Rs 28,448)
  • 12GB + 256GB at RMB 2,799 (approx USD 391 or Rs 31,860)

Xiaomi CIVI 2 Specifications

The Xiaomi CIVI 2 features a 6.56-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 10-bit color depth. The phone has a curved edge display with a punch hole in the center on the top. The screen has an 800 nit peak brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1920Hz PWM dimming rate.

The CIVI 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, as well as up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a stainless VC liquid cooling system. It is powered by Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.

A 50MP OIS primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP sensor comprise the rear camera module. The smartphone has a pill-shaped cutout for dual 32MP front cameras. While the secondary sensor has a 100° ultra-wide lens, the main sensor has autofocus.

Dual-SIM, USB Type-C, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and 5G are among the phone's connectivity options. It also has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a linear vibration motor, an infrared sensor, a 4,500mAh battery, and 67W fast-wired charging support.
