Poco is preparing to launch its entry-level C-series on the global market. According to the announcement, the Poco C40 will be available on June 16th. The design renders and key specifications of the upcoming Poco C40 have now leaked online, courtesy of PassionateGeekz. The leaked renders confirm that the upcoming Poco C40 will have the same design as the Redmi 10C. (launched as Redmi 10 in India).

The Poco C40 global variant with model number 220333QPG had previously appeared on the NBTC database, implying that it is a rebranded Redmi 10C. The handset, however, is said to have a different processor than its Redmi counterparts. Let's look at the Poco C40 design renders and specifications in greater detail.

According to the leaked design renders, the upcoming entry-level Poco handset will be available in three colours: Green, Black, and Poco Yellow. The Poco Yellow colour variant for the upcoming device has already been confirmed by Poco.

According to leaked images, the upcoming C40 will have a bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch and a substantial chin. In typical Poco fashion, the device's back panel will house the square-shaped camera module, fingerprint scanner, and Poco branding inside a rectangular island.

Poco Global has already confirmed that its upcoming entry-level device will have a 6.71-inch dot drop display and a 6,000mAh battery unit. According to the latest reports, the handset will support 18W fast charging but will ship with a 10W charger.

According to previous reports, the Poco C40 will be powered by an entry-level quad-core processor – JLQ510. PassionateGeeks' latest report confirms this and adds that the Poco handset will ship with Android 11.

According to the renders, the Poco C40 will have a dual-rear camera setup. It is said to have a 50MP sensor as well as a 2MP AI sensor. It will allegedly include a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. The device is expected to be released in a single configuration – 4GB + 64GB – and will cost around $177. (approx Rs 13,000).

Aside from the Poco C40, the Poco C40+ handset is also expected to be released as part of the C-series. Poco will most likely announce the Plus variant alongside the vanilla C40 at the June 16 event.
